Speaking of new arrivals we just received two yarns everyone has already been asking for, Kaffe Fassett's new Colourscape Chunky and Silk Garden Sock Yarn. The book and yarn for Kaffe's collection have been so popular I have already placed a second order. The yarn knits up on 10.5 needles and the color changes are very gradual and remind me of his fabric collection.
We received all 8 colors of the silk garden sock yarn. Those of you who liked the Kureyon sock yarn, but thought it was a little rough feeling will love the Silk Garden. Mr. Noro chose his most popular Silk Garden colors for the sock version. If you are not into socks, this yarn will make wonderful shawls and sweaters. In fact Jenny Watson has written a new book which features Kureyon and Silk Garden regular and sock yarns. We hope to have this new book in stock soon. Speaking of Noro, we received eight new colors of both Kureyon and Silk Garden. As usual the colors are wonderful and the staff is having difficulty deciding which is their favorite new color.
