NORO SOUTHERN STYLE Saturday March 27th 1 pm - 4 pm

This sweater is the perfect compliment to our southern region. It wears well in spring, winter or fall because it is made with Noro Silk Garden Sock yarn. You will learn how to smock, (which is surprisingly easy), make ruffles, and experience just a little lace knitting. Bring US size 2 and 3 needles (depending on which size will yield the correct gauge). You will need to purchase Book 3 by Jenny Watson and Noro Silk Garden Sock yarn at Yarn Paradise.

CITRON SHAWLETTE CLASS Thursday March 4th and 11th 9 am - 11 am

This is a very fun and quick shawlette; knitted out of Malabrigo lace weight or sock weight yarn, and takes only one skein! It makes a cute accessory for Spring. For this class, you need to know how to knit, purl and increase. Bring 32 inch (minimum) circular needles, size 4, 5, 6 (depending on size needed for gauge)
WRAP ME UP Monday February 8th, 15th, 22nd 6pm - 8 pm

A modular sampler wrap thats over the top in color and texture - as much fun to make as it is to wear. Choose one of the Noro self-striping yarns in a worsted weight or DK or sock weight. You will learn Bobbles, Mitered Squares, Linen Stitch, Seed Stitch, and Double Moss Stitch.
Harmonia Cowl February 23rd and March 2nd Tuesday evenings 6 - 8 pm

This cowl uses Cat Bordhis Moebius cast-on. It is worked from center out in a self pleating stitch pattern. This adds to the warmth and coziness to the garment. Cowl can be stretched over the head for extra warmth.
Learn the moebius cast-on and picot bind off! Materials needed: #9 47 circular needle, #9 24 circular needle, markers; as well as pattern and 350 yards worsted weight yarn purchased at Yarn Paradise.

A very popular scarf/shawl from Knitty.com! Learn the technique of carefully dropped stitches and the effects of knitting on the bias. A fun project with a fabulous result! Who doesnt want to drop stitched on purpose. You have the option of using many different yarns - variegated, metallic, solid color. Using the luxurious yarns we have, you will create a scarf/shawl that will have a lovely drape. Materials needed: #8 needles, 18 Stitch markers, and approx. 800 yds of yarn - depending on size you want scarf) - let us help you choose

Once youre ready to advance your knitting skills just pick a more challenging project and join our group. This class could also be for a beginner or someone who hasnt knitted in a long time! You can knit a project of your choice - perhaps a sweater, scarf, or baby blanket. We can decide together, just ask when you sign up for the class. Learn the art of knitting in a fun and creative atmosphere.

You can learn to knit 2 at a time socks, mittens, or fingerless gloves. Magic Loop is an excellent way to knit the JoJoLand Swirl Shawl/ Scarf. This is definitely knitters choice and an opportunity to learn new techniques.

BBB is short for Bunny Baby Blanket, a very quick Knit or Crochet - thats right you can make this if you Crochet or Knit! Make this soft, cuddly bunny for your own little one or use as a gift for a baby shower! Depending on your speed this could be a single class or several.
SPINNING Offered as Private Lesson: call to schedule

Learn the basics of spinning on your own wheel or learn how to select a wheel to purchase. If you can pat your head and rub your tummy at the same time, you can spin!! Wheel rental available.
